You may remember that a few months ago I had the opportunity to speak with Matt Townsend on his BYU Radio Show to discuss Aspartame. They recently asked me to be on their program again to talk about BMI (body mass index). It was a lot of fun to speak with Matt again, he’s a great host and so much fun to chat with. We talked about the ins and outs of BMI. What is it? What does your BMI number mean? Is it helpful information? As well as other ways, besides BMI, to assess your weight. So to set the scene here…BMI. What is it? Well it’s basically supposed to be a calculation of your “fatness”. There are categories to identify individuals as underweight, normal, overweight or obese.
