I did my typical 4 rounds of exercises. Each round included 50 seconds of each exercise (1-4) with a 10 second rest in between each. I need to switch it up and come up with some other “circuits”, this one just works so well and is perfect time-wise. I’m planning on coming up with some others this weekend though, so get super excited for that.
Exercise 1: Mountain climbers, instead of just pulling your knee up to your chest, cross it across your body for a little extra work
Exercise 2: Oblique twists. Sit in a sit-up position with your legs up and twist with your arms out from side to side (um, that didn’t make sense…just look at the picture)
Exercise 3: Standing ab cross crunches. Apparently I like making up names for my exercises. But basically stand with your hands on your head and lift your knee up, crossing it across your body towards your opposite elbow.
Exercise 4: Plank. Self explanatory…but 1st and 4th round do a normal front plank, on rounds 2 and 3 do a side plank (one on the left, one on the right).
