This morning I hit the gym early before work and did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then did this quick 16-minute ab workout. It rocked….like my rock hard abs (I wish, maybe someday) but I definitely did feel the burn. So if you’re looking for a killer ab workout try this out…Do 50 seconds of each of the 4 exercises with 10 seconds of rest in-between. Repeat 4 rounds for a total of 16 rounds (16 minutes!) Ready…go!
Exercise 1 – Plank with hip dips: Plank position dip your hips back and forth to each side.
Exercise 2 – Bicycle crunches: Regular crunches but your moving your opposite elbow and knee
toward each other.
Exercise 3 – “Stability ball weird crunches…?”: I’m sure it has a real name but I don’t know it.
Basically you just place your feet on a stability ball, get into plank position on your
hands and pull your legs up toward your chest.
Exercise 4 – Scissor kicks: For this one you’re just laying on your back and switching your legs back
and forth, try not to let your foot it the ground when you drop it down.
