I got off of work a little early today so I figured to celebrate I’d make some healthy peanut butter cookies. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that I just really wanted cookies and that I still have hardly any food in the house (I should really go grocery shopping soon). Luckily these cookies are only 3 ingredients, so obviously they’re super easy to make and who doesn’t love peanut butter cookies? Plus, I had a great at-home workout this morning so really, I deserved to eat one…uh…a few cookies. Right?
Here’s the “recipe” for the cookies. AKA the three ingredients you mix together and cook.
3-Ingredient Healthy Peanut Butter Cookies
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup oats (ground in blender to flour-like texture)
- 1 egg
- Mix ingredients together (that was hard, wasn’t it?)
- Roll into 1-inch balls and press down a bit
- Place on greased baking sheet
- Cook at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes.
- Eat, eat, eat
As I mentioned…I had a great at-home workout today. Since I just moved and haven’t really found a gym yet, because I’m not 100% sure of where I’ll be living (although I’ve been doing some free week long gym passes. Pretending that I intend to join. Is that so wrong?) I’ve been loving the home workouts these days. I downloaded this app a while ago on my phone. The “Seven” workout app. It’s free…well sort of. You do have to pay to get access to all the workouts but there are a few free ones as well. I did 3 circuits of the full-body workout this morning and loved it! It worked arms, abs, back, chest, legs and incorporated some cardio. Perfect for a quick morning workout. If you haven’t checked it out. Do it. Now. Get your phone. I’m serious.
Afterward I had a Power Crunch bar. Um. They’re delicious. Cookies and Cream. Life changing.
